I thought it was in north wales, used to go there a hell of a lot due to family there and stuff. f*****g lovely place :yes:

Excellent catch mate,I dont target brownies to be honest,butwe should be fishing soon,so maybe thats about to Change :victory: How did you catch them mate?Details on method would be appreciated?I can see you reading this Chess you old devil,couldnt resist,your like a trout to a mackerel-feather,hows Daphne? :clapper:

Mothers-pride keg?Hmmnnnn,I will haveto pop off to the local tackle emporium,or get out old J.R.Hartleys book for that one,cant say I have ever seen such a fly?Wet or Dry? :hmm: Whatever type of fly it is looks like your getting good results,keep it up :yes::notworthy:

just back from a day's fishing on a reservwire (bait) never even had a take so aint at all amused had the daughter up with me she was in the huff after a few hours wanna come home was up for 4 and a half in total tryd everything but not a fish even broke the surface . was temted to chuck her in with her webd feet but she aint the best of swimmers yet she's only 4 lol

Not even a bite?? :icon_eek: Maybe night-time is better mate,all the trout round here only feed after dark,leastways I think they are all nocturnal feeders,I havent actually caught one in daylight yet :hmm:

im thinking the same iv been to this water 4 times now all in the day and never even had a take . boys are catching with powerbait but havent botherd with it myself obviously eather i go at nite or im gonna have to buy some putty . the waters you guys are fishing must be heaving with fish cause where i am they are stocking regularly but must not be alot or there would be more coming out the water than there is the now .

I think we may just be lucky kreet :icon_redface: Sure,most waters are stocked,but even in waters with a fairly low density of fish its never too difficult to get a fish or two,just vary your methods mate,a fishery owner on here has just suggested I try using a blowgun on fish,maybe it works for him :icon_eek: I dont know,but it just shows the unusual machinations of some guys minds :icon_eek: Try powerbait mate,or my old favourite,the simple,humble mackerel feather :icon_redface:

lol a will do im of out againe over the weekend cant get out at nite the now a we cant get anyone to watch the kids and i dont drive so its a pin in the rear. ill post picks of anything i get though.

Its always good to know how other areas are fishing Kreet,get some pics up when you can mate,I joined a trout fishing forum last week,explained that I was a beginner,new to the area,asked for decent places to fish,wow,snowed under with info on various lakes,none of which are far,been looking at them on google-earth,JOE just ordered a new ROD :victory: Today,so its game-on,I think we will befishing VERY soon :whistling:
