what age

at what age do you lads show a lurcher biteing quarry?????

not to early my dog is 12 months ive shown him but never slipped him.

you dont want to spoil it.

thats very true i have it in my head at 15/16mnths but i will see how she is teperment an puppynes just wanted to no some of you guys opinions thanks :thumbs:

the collie line i keep and when i had genuine first cross saluk greyhounds out of tor i ran them on anything by the time they were 14 months the saluk crosses i have of them are no were as hard but better hare dogs in some ways but no were as aggresive on fox

i think 18 months cause there are mature in mind by then a dog can be body mature as in he looks ready but in there heads there still only pups so at 18 months give them a few doubled up then see them work on there own dont give them to much to fast cause u will break them ease them in easy and let them then do it the easy way to start,then work them like any lurcher ...just my opinion others might differ....
