jet 0
my lab will chase and catch rabbits but she would rarther mouther them when she has them in her mouth lol That sounds great Depends on what you want your lab for.I'm sure she'd love to catch bunnies, but haveing done so I think you'd have a hell of a job to make her steady around game again, either at the peg or at heal on a walk up. Don't matter what people think about it, the main thing is that you enjoy your dog!! Good luck mate and happy huntin Quote Link to post
will.f11 24
The thing is that he doesnt have a gun and the lab is not a working dog. He has 2 chocolate labradors. He just wanted to have a bit of fun! They are fairly good with ferts Quote Link to post
SMOGGY 34
HI, Labs can hunt and catch rabbits no problem, but they do need to be a racey type to catch any mount on the run, we used to have a choclate lab, who would catch rabbits like rattle, but most of these were taken off their seat, before they even got chance to run, But if your only doing it for fun what the hell, it not going to spoil your enjoyment if a few get away. atb smoggy Quote Link to post
will.f11 24
We will give them ago. To labs may be able to catch between them. I dont have a clue whether they will bring them back though!¬! Quote Link to post
