mackem 27,086
Your pics are MUCH better than mine OTC,some really obscure items there wasnt there I liked the home-made fishing crossbow and the harpoons Quote Link to post
Sundayratter 0
It seems Ryedale Ratters is happy with his bear trap from the auction Quote Link to post
mackem 27,086
It was the first time I saw a genuine partridge-kite,lots of interesting stuff to be honest I wonder if the bear trap was used to catch the bearskin rug? Quote Link to post
OldTrapCollector 377
It seems Ryedale Ratters is happy with his bear trap from the auction He hasn't stopped grinning - but then, at that price neither would I . . . OTC Quote Link to post
Guest Ditch_Shitter
Below the woman in black, first shot? Is that a Glenmoor? Any idea what the 'Armadillo' went for? The guy really displays the most appalling lack of direction or even taste, doesn't he? Mugged himself doing it that way too. Could've hired me to do it on the Bay for him. Ye've seen how I can fire the b*stards up! He lost a screaming 'Sprung Hook Fish Trap' on the Bay, ye know? Guy slapped down x00's and went out, leaving the 38 bid covered. When he came back, he found he'd got it for 38! You watch half that stuff hit the Bay now. Properly described and prices spiralling Quote Link to post

OldTrapCollector 377
Below the woman in black, first shot? Is that a Glenmoor?Any idea what the 'Armadillo' went for? The Mk I Glen Moor was a very poor example Ditch, parts missing, weak spring and pitted steel. Also had been acid stripped which basically ruined it. I know exactly how much the Gibbs Armadillo went for - it is sitting next to me right now OTC Quote Link to post
skycat 6,173
Some of those little cage type traps look fascinating: the one at the top left of the pic: how would that work and what would it be for?- Quote Link to post

Intricately crafted traps from a chap in Brazil that Ditch and I know as 'Armando'. They went for hardly anything - a bit of a shame to see them sell so cheaply. I just wish I had more spending power yesterday to get a few more! OTC Quote Link to post
