murraywatt 0
my jill was lined seven weeks ago this weekend, she was getting big and the usual teats becoming more prominent, but suddenly shes gone all thin. i thought shed had the young ones but when i had a look in her nest there was no sign not even any blood, is she just late or has she eaten them? there was a crash next to the house last week so i think this may have triggered her to eat them but wouldnt there be blood? sue 1
she might not even given birth to any kits if she was not properly mated she could have had a phantom or stress could have made her absorb the kits Quote Link to post
jazz_11 5
my jill had a phantom earlier this month. Quote Link to post
The one 8,507
If she was getting bigger and her teats showing then she went thin sounds like shes had them and eaten them you will know for sure if she comes back into season soon Quote Link to post
Guest jojoamojo
ferrets that phantom get big and their nipples come up too though is there any discharge? Quote Link to post
murraywatt 0
ferrets that phantom get big and their nipples come up too though is there any discharge? nah theres no dischage, and it dosent look as though shes coming back into season, although itl likely take a while, i dont think she could have gave birth and eaten them because surely there would be blood?
