Irish Lurcher 1,013
Not to sure if ye have seen this coin before. Its old Irish money, dating way back to 1928, as you can see it has some form of hound on it, can anyone please tell me how we came about to using this hound on our coins, what type of hound is it?? Caravan Monster 323
Here' s some more! Was there one with a gamebird of some sort ? My family had a vending machine business in the sixties and seventies. I' ve got a tub of foreign coin that people used to try in the vending machines, but the Irish coins are more pleasing to look at than any of the other nationalities. In the big engineering shops, they used to machine coin sized blanks to get free stuff out of the vending machines
