Which set of scope mounts?

As above i need to get a decent set of mounts for this scope however don't have a clue what are good and what are bad makes.

 

Any info appreciated.

Can't go wrong with Warne, Weaver, Leupold or Badger Ordnance.

 

I have used all of those successfully.

 

Burris, ATN and a whole list of others are out there but I have no personal experience of them.

 

The best mounts I ever owned were by Recknagel (Website: http://www.recknagel.de/mountsenglish.htm )

 

They are from Rheinfeld in Bavaria and really understand quality glass and how to mount it.

what type of rifle are you fitting them to, i live in dalkeith and might be able to sort you out with a set for a good price, if its a sako, i have a brand new set of Sako Optilock ring mounts, they will fit tikka as well.

It's a remington 700 with synthetic stock. (not that the stock makes a difference to the mounts )

I have a set of warne 30mm hight on my remmy 22.250 & i aint had no probs.
