well thought i would start a chat about books

ive read

 

 

(air rifle hunting by john darling ) great read , easy reading nice info ,text nice size ect

 

 

(total airguns by pete wadeson ) again great read if not better book is full of info text slightly smaller . but good read

 

has any body else read good book ????

well i read both of them.....good books .......i think theres a book called advanced airgun hunting not sure who wrote think his name is somthing darcy..But thats all i know of....p.s john darling was and is a f*****g legend he was the man..........and i aint even open to discussion on this one guys.......

I have got John Darlings book on air rifle hunting and it is a cracking good read, what amazes me most is that he found time to write a book on sea fishing as well.

both are really good reads and Johns book must clearly rate as a 'must have'

 

reckon John Darling is responsible for the near legendary status of the HW80, that venom tuned rifle of his sure looks the bizz

some rifle that hw was. did you know that john darling perfected shooting rabbits on the move'come on lets face it john could do things with that venom tuned hw80 that would leave most of us mezmerized.. wow wish i could have had a cup of tea and chat with j.d the guy was a very good journalist

Yep i would second that, a top photo journalist and author, and that book just dont seem to look out of date inspite of being written 20 odd years back

i know what you mean mate 'some could know all there is to know about airgun hunting' but they couldent explain it like john .....its this book that i base my hunting on . j.d had morrels the right morrels and the right way of thinking
