damashaman 1
Breeding with dead or dying terriers is impossible. Waiting till 3 years of digging experience is gambling, what do you do, wait for them to get tired and jib before you breed them? Breed them young to drop back on in the future I say. Otherwise extinct the breed! Plus old and tired terriers are sometimes too spent to even have a litter. Quote Link to post

damashaman 1
with the best will in the world, the best bred dogs in the world will not always perform. Its often down to entering and who has the dog. Out of 5 pups of the best bred terriers often only 2 will make the grade depending who is on the top of the lead. Some (most) over face a young game dog and carry on with them until they jib, giving 18-months -2 years to mature will yield far more longevity, and a better rate of success. Quote Link to post

If the dogs a jibber then it should'nt be bred from anyway, thats the whole point of giving them as much work as poss before you breed,so you know they not gona jack after a few seasons. Would you have much confidence in the pups if 6 months after they were born one of the parents quit? I know i would'nt Quote Link to post
damashaman 1
when they are pushed they will either jib or die, pit bull paradox no1, can't breed from a dead, dead game dog! Quote Link to post

greggy 18
heard a good one the other day.......when a lad i know was telleing some terrier lads that he thougt due to his young dogs style in the ground he thought it would either spew or be lost to ground.their reply....."every dog spews in the end"!!!!!!!!!what the f**k?i dont know these lads very well and from what i have known they seemed decent lads but after that comment im not sure what to make of them, they also instructed my mate to work his young dog sore to calm it down a bit.i cant see that doing any good for the dog hes only 18 month and has only had 6 digs allready looking like hes seen alot more, after that last comment im not supprised all their dogs jack.
