jjbull 38 Posted February 7, 2005 Report Share Posted February 7, 2005 had a rake about today with a couple of mates only local as we were walking cos my mate has lost his license went to a couple o spots that we usually ignore as we thought the local lads would do them to death but we were in for a pleasent surprise, mylab x took o down the hedge row and i just presumed it was more pheasent as he love pushing these out but he stopped and his tale was going mental when we got up to him he was marking a earth but with no terrier with us we had to leave it we found another 3 ater that all within a half hour walk from my house. we continued further on were id been with ian after some deer and found a nice littlewood to beat so i positioned my self were i thought the game would break from and told my mate to go in 10 mins later he came out nothing but when we gotto the end there were 3 deer on the other side of the feild they had broken cover on the other side but i will know fro next time, id brought the ferret to get the dogs some runs and we manged a couple of rabbits but it wasnt the size of the bag it was the hunting we found for the future, it just goes to showyou dont allways have to travel miles to find some sport my lab x another my lurcher my ates dogs one on the right out of scout other one saluki x bull/grey 18weeksold Quote Link to post Share on other sites
