HW77 problems

Recommended Posts

hi, as some of you may know i have got my old hw77 back.

i tried setting the scope for my girlfriends brother to use, so he could come out rabbiting with me at the weekend. i set a target up at 30 yards, and took 3 shots, THEY WAS ABOUT 6 INCH APART!! i put that down to me using my pcp now going back to the springers, but i could not get a zero. there was a strong side wind which COULD have something to do with the loose groups.

so i set a target up at 10 yard and i was getting about 1 inch groups.

i changed the scope but the same thing.

i am going to wait for the next calm day to try zero again, to rule out the weather.

now i dont know if it is my shooting or if there is something to fault with this rifle.

any suggestions?

p.s. i used to be a good shot with this gun.

I had the same problem when I went back to springers again, after my Techstar adventure. Springers are different things to shoot.

Why dont you try 25m, and 30 more shots to zero, it will be spot on.
