aye nobody near you that you could swap then for rabbits pigeon's etc for the ferrets

i feed my hobs flounders which i catch when im out on the alt estuary,all i do is gut them. my hobs absolutely love them makes a change and im sure it gives them extra vitamins which they wouldn,t normally get .

i feed my ferrets trout which i catch mate, they must be deboned and they seem to like the heads aswell..

My ferrets love trout heads but why aren't you putting the trout back?

Even seems silly to me to feed whole rabbits to ferrets, whatever happened to feeding the heads and offal?

Too much money now for sirlion and t-bones nowadays, LOL.

i dont put trout back because its the fishery rules. and i eat the fillets and they eat the heads......

but now and again the get the fillets

When I lived in the north-east my ferrets ate salmon and sea-trout heads and scraps several times a week in season,they loved them,made a change from constant fur and feather.
