SportingShooter 0
A bit of news on the Litts situation. In the August edition of "Pull", the CPSA magazine, it says that Sportsman Gun Centre, based in Exeter have bought the business. The main shop, and "Treetops " shooting ground in Newport will continue. Litts also had a gunroom at the Royal Berkshire shooting school, but it is unclear if that continues. There is no financial detail at all. RBSS has been taken over by Ray Ward Gunsmiths. And, yes, the Litt's name is set to continue. It will be something like Litts within Sportsman or similar. The shooting ground has been bought by them too and is open for business now with Andrew the old manager carrying on there. The shop in Newport should be opening up in about a fortnight. The shop may move from there if the lease is up, however. As for finances, the figure is somewhere in the mind bogglingly staggering region of £52m. Regards SS Quote Link to post

Regards SS Well I had heard that Wards have taken over the shop vacated by Litts and not the Royal B Shooting S Peter Quote Link to post
SportingShooter 0
Which shop? The one in Newport? No, Ray Ward has gone into the RBSS showroom. And the site in Newport is where Litts will be for the time being. That was all published in the Shooting Times by the way. Regards SS Quote Link to post

My point was that Wards had only taken over the shop at RBSS, - not the Shooting School Quote Link to post
