countrymaid 2
does any body else work pedigree bedlingtons or is it just me .flushing ratting ferreting Ive got a pedigree Bedlington that used to work, hes very old now but we used him mainly for rats and he caught the odd squirel when he was younger. He is highquest/Skewhill Bred and he holds a Working certificate with the National Bedlington Terrier Club. I believe my dogs sire Highquest Hot Sauce was a very good working dog as well, i think he was used for rats and flushing. Quote Link to post

We used to have an Aireview Bedlington who was 100% show bred she was a tiny little bitch, we could never trust her off lead as she would go down and investigate any hole/drain and she was also a very good climber. If she had been given the chance to work instead of going to shows she would have been very good at it. Quote Link to post

harv 5
I tried to get hold of a working type about ten years ago but very limited over here on the isle of man, so ended up buying a kc reg bitch and to be quite honest shes no worse than some of the working types ive seen. Quote Link to post

david2363 42
Just go to any of the game fairs this summer Oyama, you'll see loads of working Bedlingtons. At least thats what thier owners call them. Strangely, not a mark on most of them. Quote Link to post
