mole catcher 1
Im not picking on this gun in the pic, JUST USING IT AS AN EXAMPLE. i think what most folk dont realise its the shine of an object that will give your being there away more than the colour. if you look at the picture you will see there is one hell of a shine coming off the tape. some tapes ive used have an almost cloth feel to them. Combine with this the dull finish and you are part way there. theres more than simple camo paterns, ask any solder, ex or serving SHINE SHAPE SHADOW SILLOETE (?) Bottom rifle is a BSA Lightning that i sprayed up for my woodland tree rat shooting that i have tried to keep as shine free as possible Quote Link to post

Grim Reaper 1
Hi guys, Now, although i haven't got my rifle cammed up as such, i AM working on an idea i have been contemplating over for a while now, and it basically consists of a 'sleeve' onto which i can place any type of foliage available to me at my shoot - whatever the type and shade which is there at the time i go there, sort of thing. The beauty of the idea is that it can then be totally removed from the rifle once i get home, and so is not a permanent fixture, like? I am going down this road because i just couldn't bear the thought of covering up my walnut stock in a permanent way you see. I will let you know how it works out when i have finished it and hopefully get a few piccies of it too. All the best, Grim Edited May 27, 2008 by Grim Reaper Quote Link to post
