trader 0
Years ago a lurcher that i had retreaved a tiny moorhen chick prob only a few days old , i hunted every where to see where it had come from but with no joy, so i took it home dried it of and put it in the airing cupboard for the warmth. over a period of a couple of days it started to improve so that is was starting to walk around looked just like a big bumble bee. Making great progress unfortunately i didnt realise there was a gap under the airing cupboard door it waddled out and my mums labrador ate it Quote Link to post

Guest dotty
what ever the spaniel catches she always retrieves live. the down side to this is when she catches rats she brings them to me live. i take a step back and she'll follow me till i take it from her. as a sollution i pick up the terrier a use her as my hands and she then takes it from the spaniel and finishes it off.
