bass fishing

were hoping to get our little boat out soon now the weathers picking up and the hawks down to moult. every year we hope to catch a bass but never do.....pollack, gurnard, skate, mackerel, shad....no prob...but never a bass :censored: its becoming a fixation now for my other half, so can anyone recommend a good lure please? we can be hugging the rocks (north corwall) or out to sea a bit, we dont mind which, but would love some advice please.

Fished with Eddy chapman down in dorset last yr & myself him & his nephew were smashing them on the red/gold flying c's........I have caught plenty local using the same spinner and have also caught a fair few on the biggest silver "Blue Fox" vibromx local as well......Good luck

The best bass fishing i have ever had by far is in morcambe.

 

Well heysham to be accurate, right next to the nuclear power plant LOL

 

They use the sea water to cool the reactor and there is a big outflow on a pier to oneside of the powerstation.

 

The warm water brings some good fishing upon the return of the tide.

 

I kid you not if you can get there try it :thumbs:

 

To add, no, i havent caught any fish with 3 eyes or 2 heads LOL :sick:
