MIKE 18
Well it only seems a short while ago that I made the very long trip north to Dave Sleight's to line my pure bred Kelpie bitch with his black greyhound "Price Cut".I had her scanned at 5 1/2 weeks and was told that there were 6 pups there, but this was only an estimate and there could be more or less when she eventually whelped. She whelped the pups a day early on the 20/05 (last Tuesday) she had a trouble free time which I was very pleased abut as this is her first litter and she is 5 1/2 years old,I have given her everything I could to help her and the best food available,I don't know if this helped or not but I am convinced it did. There were 3 pups born then she had a rest for a while before having the other 3, 6 in total 3 dog's and 3 bitches mostly brindles but two that originally looked black when they were born but now look more of a dark brown colour. Here's a few pics Six healthy happy little bundles or potential trouble All the best Mike Quote Link to post

Neal 1,857
Hi Mike, sorry to hijack your pup thread just to ask about the dam but I was interested to know what her breeding is. I have an Attford bred dog and two Elidyr bitches. The two bitches were sired by a Lyndhurst dog out of a Letnetti (German) bitch in one case and a Woolstone bitch in the other. I use mine for ferreting, bushing etc too though I've never used mine for beating as I've always been a tad worried that someone a bit trigger happy might mistake them for a fox. Quote Link to post

Hi Neal The mother of my bitch is lyndhurst ziggy sired by a dog called scoriochre cracker and the sire of my bitch is Karana Krypto, she was bred at the woolstone kennels. Quote Link to post
Neal 1,857
Thanks Mike, I thought I noticed a family resemblance. The sire of my bitches is Lyndhurst Shep who's also sired by Cracker and the Woolstone bitch, which is the dam of my younger bitch, was sired by Krypto out of another Lyndhurst bitch. I've heard excellent things about Krypto and his pups both for farm work and as hunting dogs. My young bitch is coming up for eleven months now but has still not had her first season. She's barely 18" and looks like a mongrely Manchester Terrier. Quote Link to post
