You are right there we would of still been there only for Dev and P and we well repay the favour sometime. Dog was in grips for about an hr or so and we could hear the battle goin on from the mouth of the hole and then silence so we waited for bout 3 hrs and no noise and he hadnt moved an inch on the locator so we had a fair idea that we be digging to a dead dog so rather start last nite we got gathered up and started at 8 this morning we owed him that much couldnt of left him not knowing for sure what happened.

sorry for your loss mate the dog died doing what he loved and bred for he could have walked away from the quarry at any time but chose to fight till the end. R.I.P captain a true digging dog

YES heat can be a killer thats just one of many reasons a lot of lads dont dig in the summer.
