(obviously not for some) cheers jazz Most ferrets will kill rabbits and you dont just have the locator on for rabbits that the ferret catches and lays up on because after a lot of time waiting they do come out unless stuck in a block end. a lot of the time ferrets get stuck because they cant climb back up out of the holes that go done to the next level some times. Also i have done a bit of ferreting over summer and i find after a bit the ferrets dont both with the little ones. but only do it for pest control. The best people to ask about ferreting is the lads that have been doing it for years. But remember different people ferret differently depending where they live. Quote Link to post

The one 8,529
The thing about summer ferreting is the heat, thats what kills ferrets they can stand cold but not heat and travelling in a warm car stuck in a box is dangerous for them ,far better if you got a open fronted cat crate type of carrying box and stick a water bottle on the front . And watch carrying them between the burrows and place the box in the shade whilst your netting up etc . Quote Link to post
