its possible to ferret all year round, some choose not to thats all

It is possible to ferret all year round if you dont mind being handy with the spade ,but theres other easier methords to control rabbits in the summer

look for open burries fech getting stung unless no chioce done it and wore the t shirt , there areas im going to do localy to give the ferrets a bit fun etc and some nice fresh half grown rabbs for the frier luvly jubbly as they say , cant beat a threeqaurter grown rabb on the bone good truck for anybody , great fried and casseroled etc

i personally would not ferret in the summer unless i had a locator otherwise you could lose ferret after ferret but i think ollie the young lad on here he ferrets all year round because his ferrets dont kill.... pm ollie he is a good boy and offers great advice..

you can loose a ferret anytime of year if you aint got a locator

very true but more so when the cover's knee high far better with snares ,traps etc in the summer time

Thanks I do a bit in the summer as my main ferret(poley jill) does not kill and if she does kill she bring it up

thanks. stubby i no you can lose a ferret any time of year without a locator, but it is MORE likely in the summer....

sorry i thought it was just common sense..... (obviously not for some)

It probably sounded wrong I meant does anyone else go ferreting in the summer. I am fairly new to this and I wasnt sure if i should go out even though I often do

Its more fun lamping but it the late start's last two night it wasn't dark till midnight .leave the ferrets to get a rest till september
