If you want to avoid the hassle just tell them that you bought a seperate collar for your dog and one of the other lads has a 'proper' box. Post here if he goes looking for a serial number and surely someone will PM. We've gone over the reasons on here before why NOT to buy some of the other makes of box to use with the collar. But I doubt the people at Pieps would release a box for sale for a terrier finder collar which has the EXACT same form factor, colour and decals as their avalanche finder product BUT the two are actually different They would have to be identical - think about it - can you imagine the trouble they'd let themselves in for I really think some lads on here have a vested interest in B&F????????? I'm looking to buy this setup as well but just don't have the cash to throw away if there is a genuine cheaper option? Quote Link to post
