Guest saluki
Toyota Hi-Lux VX 280 Double Cab with a Truckman on it. It's perfect. Just needs some better tyres. Snelly. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Toyota Hi lux Twin cab, 2.4td fully loaded, all terrain tyres. Best off roader by miles. King of 4 x
smallmouth 1
Peugeot 307 Hatch 110 BHP HDI. Not a bad drive, but by far the worst car I’ve owned for niggling “standard” faults. Not enough room in the back, also the back seats don’t fold down far enough to make a completely flat base. The raised lip on the hatchback catches toes on the jump in. Not big enough. Crap for the dog, crap for fishing, very irritating car, cost about 16K new. Handy discreet storage area though............. Best vehicle I had for Lurchers was an old Mark II Escort van, the back slept me and a pair of ¾ breds in comfort! Tended to attract “official” interest from uniformed tyre kickers though……… Cheapest motoring I ever had, cost about £350 used. Might try a Passat Estate next.

Guest Corkonian
Have a Pajero 2.8 SWB - fast enough compared to most other jeeps around, had a lot of work done on it before I got it. Can't take all the dogs in it - no room - so I have a trailer as well which is a disaster to try and reverse and park with. Looking at getting a crewcab next but can't get insured so far. Sat in a Warrior at a dealers the other day - stunning car! But I'm too lanky for them. I didn't even get close to fitting in it. Will look at the Navara or Hilux next. Navara engine looks a lot more powerfull but you can't beat Toyota. I've wrecked 2 astra vans and a corolla out hunting so going to stick with the 4X4's.
