excellent for hide shooting or close range, i usually get powerpell or accupell and none of them in stock so i bought a tin of verminpell about 2 years back and i love them excellent pellets kill alot easyer too but make a mess theres no head left when them pellets land, well worth the £8.40 mate tell me what you think of them, p.s forgot to tell you i used them with my .22 for close range but with the new .177 i use them for close and far range :victory::victory::victory::gunsmilie::gunsmilie:

hard hitting yes but past 35yds the groups started to open up. i know it says on the tin close range but who wants to be altering there scope all the time for these pellets. when hit in the right spot nothing much gets away from my usual AA fields. i tryed the super h points too and had the same results - over distance they werent much cop but did "mushroom" well on impact.

I preferred the RWS Super Hollow Points, to the VerminPell. They're cheaper too.

hi Chris the cheapest tin isn't always the best considering you want a humane & instant kill.

but everyone to there own.

hi lurcherboy

your right these are excellent . i use them on a business park not much stalking but waiting lots. these are good for close range but also i have killed at 40 yards & a heart shot at 53.and they do get victory :victory:victory:

don't knock it till you try it ,by a tin and see if it makes any difference you may be surprised .

i have tryed them Davey and still got allmost a full tin sitting on the shelf next to me here along with the super points, accs, biz mags, super h points and all the others i bought a few years ago when i was testing what performed best in my rifle. most were good at 25-30 yds but then groups opened up apart from the AA fields which i can shoot acurately for a much longer distance than the others providing the weather is suitable and its off the pod. the only time something gets away is when the idiot behind the gun messes up on the amount of hold over so the pellet goes wizing over your quarrys head, not because the pellets arnt hitting hard enough.

i'm not much of a fan of heart shots - alot of guess work and if your slightly off with the range your going to seriously injur the quarry yet it wont be fatal enough to down it. supose if your using them vermipell you get a greater chance of a fatal hit but i'll stick with what i know works.

dropped like a sack of shit, as most do when hit in the scull :clapper:

yeh theyre excellent pellets and crossman do have a great selection prom accupell to verminpell then the powerpell you can also get matchpell to i have never used them im happy with the vermin and they havent failed yet but that might be the last few times iv been out every shot has hit the target and thats either the head or neck, the 1st day out with it my sights were set at 30 yds i seen a jay approx 50 yds away i had the airgun my mate had the shotgun so i thought id aim 2 mil dots above and if i just wound it he can finish it with the 32inch single barrel, anyways i aimed 2 mils above the head and bang down like a sack of shit soon as the pellet hit the target, later on i pulled the feathers off the head and neck and there was a hole in the left side of the head and also 1 on the right so that was a good start for the hw100 .177 and just shows what verminpells can do at about 50 yards not just short range :clapper::clapper::clapper:
