Guest dotty
i've got a baretta knife. very smart peace of kit, good for deer, but a waste of time for rabbits, other wise a good old openal, or i find a stanley knife pritty good. just change the blade when it get blunt. leegreen 2,169
large opinal ,soak blade in salt water untill it gets rust on it then it will take a good edge every time you sharpen it Why the need for salt water, I use an Opinal from timie to time and its well sharp. maty j 6
large opinal ,soak blade in salt water untill it gets rust on it then it will take a good edge every time you sharpen it they rust easy enough as it is with the carbon steel - still dont see why you would want it rusty though i use a buck protege now, about 20-30 quid. great knife, great rubber handle on it and a locking blade that takes a real good edge. gilly-93 31
buck knives are one of the best thease days good blade and sharpen up like a razor
Waz 4,262
Opinel, but put a drop point on it, a few notches on the back of the blade will give a bit more purchase for your thumb & adjust the shape of the handle for your own ' feel '. Total cost less than a tenner.
