allgame 0
how do labs work on deer, do they bush? Quote Link to post
Rabbithunter 456
i think any lab, will do what it is taught to do. our lab was taught for pheasents, and thats what she loves to do, if a pheasant is there, she will flush it. But im sure if she was taught to flush deer, then she would....they have an excellent nose and my dad said that training her was boring because it was that easy Quote Link to post
Raider 0
Any rough shooting lab we ever had hunted rabbit and fox naturally so Im sure if deer were present a good lab would flush them or track them after a shot. Quote Link to post
Rabbithunter 456
my larl lab flushed two roe just today. She is only about 21" - 22" TTS, and shes 7.5 years old...... Smallest lab i've came across so if anybody has a small lab dog, i would be interested in a "small bred" labrador litter Edited June 4, 2008 by Rabbithunter Quote Link to post
