kiwi 4
been working my wires on a new shoot thats opened in our area and has been an experience working with the birds again, i worked for a while on a game farm back in 98 when i had a couple of good labs, the fact the farm had plenty of deer and pigs was not the reason i worked there honest been good dogging in and working on the steadyness training over summer but as the gamebird season has now opened here the time has come to do some pratice drives to get an idea on the flight paths so they can start shooting them.....we have a kids day next week so will post up some pics next week. the gwp's have been working hard on the wild birds as well having a half dozen already this season. kiwi 4
kids day went well, not a huge bag but enough to give them a taste of pommie driven shooting and plenty of dogs around working on picking up, pity the weather was terrible being mid winter here scruff showing the labs how to point pheasants.
