Guest Ditch_Shitter
Pot. Per is used - amongst other things - in steralising water in survivally situations, mate. Buy if from a Pharmacy. Teaspoon should do ye. The varnish? Nothing a drop of paint stripper shouldn't remove, I'd have thought?
noddy10 411
nice job but you need to cut down the skull at the back of the antlers through the eye sockets and loosing the teeth then pin it on a shield. just have a browse on the net for pics you will see what i mean. as for darkening the antlers dont varnish just use some small amout of red/brown boot polish put on carfully with a tooth brush then gently brushed in. nice attempt though. i was thinking that like it looked funny and was hard to fix to the sheild....but i no fox next time

Gav 1,708
This is one of ours from a cull in Sussex a few years ago, just left it out in the sun till it stopped stinking then drilled the back of the skull and put a loop wire through hung up with a hook then, looks cool natural. We were going to get it mounted proffesionaly but the guy showed us some and they do take a lot of the back of the skull off to mount them. Decided to just leave it as is.
