I wouldnt feed kits any dried food , have used both dried & meat in the past & ferrets fed raw thrived much better & handled a hell off a lot easier

i dont feed dried food to my kits,they never see dried until the following summer ,only because they eat everything and biscuits make them fat

i always put a whole rabbit in at this time of year as ferrets are great at hiding spare food and i find it easier to find the left overs ,plus it gives the young something to get their teeth into if there is any left. how many kits do you have?

Mines due in 2 weeks, first time ive done this, have every book you can buy but advice of folk who have done this before is very valuable.
