i also think the theoben rapid i used one for a few year's before i got my firearms certificate ,and it acounted for a lot of rabbit's, pigeon etc

I have to say Theoben Rapid 7 Mk 1... because I have one - Thanks to this gun I can eat squirrel pie - I love it (the pie and the gun)...

iv had 7 rapid 7 in my day the mark one gives 300 shots pr fill the mk2 give 420 shots pr fill ,thats if they are none FAC, about 50 shots if they are FAC,and what a cracking gun they are but i now have a air arms s410k nice little gun only for the rats and ferals mind ,but i would recomend the rapid to any body ,so easy to work on ,so easy to tune up to 12lb :whistle: may be one day soon i will have another one

get a mk 1 regged and tuned, heard you could get over a 100 shots at about 23ftlb :whistle:

Ace guns Rob but finding a decent one is rarer than Millet's left hand walnut Air Arms! Of course it goes without saying that all modifications that up the power over 12ft/lbs require an FAC.

I got my Rapid from 'Cash Converters'... I beat the muppet behind the till down to £200 (and it came with a pretty nice scope) with much pointing, techno babble + umming, ahhhing and sucking teeth noises...

 

...of course - I only turn mine up to 22Ftlb with a quick twist of the allen key at the back when I let people with an FAC shoot it - otherwise that would be very, very naughty indeed!

i think the rapid is probably the best gun but the airarms is a very close second and better value for money!!!
