hi just after some advise iv just bought a ferrer finder (mk1) do i have the coller with the battery pointing down or up on the top of its neck. i thought facing down as its not going to get snaged but will i still get a clear reading when im looking for her?

put the collar on so it sitsunder your ferrets chin [bANNED TEXT] after fitting a battery and tightning the collar tape it with insulating tape so the cap will not come off under ground goodhuntingall woodga :ph34r:

Think most people will do the same as woodga, mixy..... not the best of pics but it's just a bit of craic.....

I tape mine first, I check it works ok then tape it up, then put it on the ferret under the chin. I have had them slip off twice, one was a seven foot dig, the other was a good wind up from Paul739. I may look into a harness type strap that will go behind the front legs as well,

when i put them on i put them on so they are faceing upwards , but they all ways end up under the chin any way !!
