Anything bigger is a bit difficult as their light dogs but you never know if they have it in them. They struggle a bit on the stamina side for day time hares but will get 1 here and there. Iv'e got a collie grey x whippet and shes a cracking little dog. For lamping rabbits it would be my choice anyway. Quote Link to post
Guest ripstop Posted May 14, 2008 Report Share Posted May 14, 2008 Ive got a Collie Whippet Grey x Whippet Grey, Shes fast and caught her first rabbit at approx 10 months old on the lamp. I left her off till just after Xmas then put her on a few more, she is fast, very good turning, easy to train, if not a bit too stubborn at times, walks by my side, a very loyal dog and a pleasure to own, heres Cassy at approx. 8 months old.
