johnk 0
what is better alround a 1/2 cross or 3/4 cross bull greyhound put up your pics of your dog Quote Link to post
harddigging 42
the 3/4 greyhound is the better allrounder down to the fact they have more speed but i prefere to use a halfcross to work along the terriers Quote Link to post
Guest rio
i have a half x bitch and a 1/4 x dog overall the dog was a better dog in his time alot quicker than the half x Quote Link to post
kirstysdad 827
i personly have used both types and find them excellant allrounders but as they say it all depends on what you do with them 3/4 a bit faster and more nimble 1/2 a lot stronger and able to take more stick have also got bullwhippetxbullgreyhound cant fault this cross for working with terriers doing cover will hit the cover when chasing and just carry on though cover and i mean thick bramble and they catch a few in the cover but then again it all depends what you want the dog to do Quote Link to post
MAACCY 105
IT ALL DEPANDS ON WHAT U WANT TO DO A QUARTER BULL IS A GOOD ALL ROUNDER THE HALF CROSS IS A GOOD TERRIER MANS DOG Quote Link to post

Guest lurcherboy2008
i cant see how people say 1/4 is faster than the 1/2's alot of the halfs can turn out to be racey and throw back to the greyhound and so can the 1/4's but in all fairness you do see alot more raceyer 1/4's than 1/2s. iv seen half cross bull greyhounds and youd swear theyre pure greys but then again you see the litter brother/sister and you'd never think they'd be related, then you could see the greyhound(if its the father) go over a big half x bitch and the pups wil be 1/4 bull and they could all throw back to the bull and be heavy and slow so id never really say 1/4 is faster than the 1/2's because alot of the time its not true. if i was going to pick a pup i couldnt care how much bull it had in them aslong as its either 1/4 3/8 or 1/2 aslong as they out of good stuff i wouldnt be fussy p,s thats a 1/4 cross in my pic hes not mine hes a mates but hell be going over my bitch so therll only be 1/8th bull in them but they both good dogs so happy days no need to have much bull in them these days with this fu**ing ban Edited May 15, 2008 by lurcherboy2008 Quote Link to post

bird 9,926
If you want to keep the bull , and the speed. Why not go for a bull bitch to a whippetx grey. having that whippet in there , should drop the size+weight and make it more agile with a bit of luck. BIRD Quote Link to post
stevie g 2005 125
always found that percentage wise u would always get a gamer dog off a striaght than a 3 quater the secert is getting a striaght half heart into a strong 3 quater body and then u have a dog Quote Link to post
