Webly longbow

Any one used a webly longbow Just wondering if they are any good and are they all screw cut? thinking abought getting one because the lightning keeps on braking and carnt be bothered with sending it back to BSA any more

Longbow's are fine but a little pricey for what they are.

 

What's happening with the Lightning? They're usually pretty reliable guns.

the longbow is a vast improvement on a lightning imo.

had both and a real no contest.

as far as i know yes they are all screw cut to take a 1/2 inch unf silencer.

do it get one.

It's a better gun, than the Lightning, but there are far better guns around, for less money.

As far as I know, the Longbow is very similar to the Tomahawk, I have a Tomahawk and it is the best ‘springer’ airgun I have ever owned, and I’ve owned many.

The Longbow is screw cut, ½†UNF, so any standard silencer will fit.

I have a Longbow which I love - very nicely balanced rifle.

I had it v-mached (10 months ago) & it is superb

 

If you can get a Brummie the build quality is generally thought to be better

Oh - and this

 

My mate had a 95 and I found them very different rifles - the Webley felt more "substantial", with a thicker stock etc.

 

There's a few to consider around that sort of level - TX200HC is a very nice one too
