BlueCoyote 0
i had one named John long time ago lol John or Johnny. i like to wait till i have the dog to name them but i am fond of historical names or names that have meaning behind them that suits the dog. names of dogs i had in the past Trooper Quila (aka Tequila cause he had a strong bite to him, not to mention he was the same colour) Darby (as in Brigadier General William O. Darby) Franklin (as in Sir John Franklin) Warlock Bullet Boss to name a few.... back in the 's my husband had a junkyard guarding Neapolitan Mastiff named Choco. the name was short for Chocolate since he was the same colour as chocolate. my grandparents named one of their dogs Sue. and yes he was a boy.... and yes he was a mean son of a bitch. the dogs i have now have average names.... thats what i get for letting the husband help name them! Ben, Kaydee, and Miki.. i named my terrier before i got married. her name is Amber. seems to suit her. Edited May 13, 2008 by BlueCoyote

heatmeiser 0
I called my JRT Devo. Short for De-evolution, which kind of suits him..... The mrs insists he's named after that 70's new wave band, but she's wrong.
