Any one recommend a type/make of surface lure for pike

Also does anyone use lures for taking perch?

Surface lures for pike snagproof Frogzilla and Mouldys hawg wobbler (really!). Perch can be caught on small spinners or shads easily enough.

Tif i twas a wise man twould be throwing thee fat ratt , moss boss and thee spook tif a weedy water , but tif clear popp em thee hog wobbler, lucky 13 , bucher top raider and a poes giant jackpot .....!!!

Try the heddon crazy crawler, jointed jitter bug, rappala skitter pop or a slowly retrieved shakespear big S they have always worked well for me when the water is warm enough. I find a slow retrieve with the old twich and a few pauses works well with most of this kind of lure.

Perch take plugs and spinners well, even if they dont fit in there mouths in some casses. Medium sized mepps in silver or gold make a good start. Good luck
