Finally got there

Recommended Posts

Since boxing day my young bitch has been stuck on 99 not quite hitting the century and it hasn`t been for not seeing game she just hasn`t been running properly

Last thursday when Jordan was down had an excellent run but it made it to cover then on sunday whilst out with Kane and Ratkilla had 2 slips both in my eyes where good chances but no it seemed she wasn`t going to get there thought it was going to be like a cricketer they either get bowled or caught on there up coming century thought it was sods law that she would come to some damage somewhere but last night saw that she had made it and thats that :D I aint ever been bothered about numbers but when a dog keeps catching you do start to wonder how much and how quickly they can tally up i done it to start with the beddy cross on bunnies then got lost and now i have hit what i thought is a great achievment i will probably not tally up half as much so long as she carries on that will do for me...She had this one 2 fields away from a long slip i would still prefer the bitch to be up and bang but she still paces her quarry can`t even say she`ll learn with more, she seems comfortable with her style and gets results so there you go here`s a picture of her and her quarry :good:

P.S This sounds as if i am talking from present......Every thing written has been quoted from my own personal diary of 2003 you cant take are memories :realmad:  And so long as we all live we will all have plenty :good:

Like most things theres deer and then theres deer. Its a lot more difficult for some one to have to drive to run them than if like Royston you have them pretty much on your doorstep.74 would most likely have been easily doubled its just a case of how much trouble you have to go to.Theres a lot of lads I know see muntjac as a pain in the arse not even worth the trouble for dog food. They cant exercise the dogs without catching 1 or 3 hard to believe but if deer isnt your thing then they can be a bit of a liability.Roystons bitch is a very capable dog on the deer and a well bred dog in a quarry rich area will perform some remarkable achievments.
