All the best, Luke. mine had a phantom pregancy this spring very early.. i guess too early for the hob to do more than bring her outta season. She came directly back into season as well. Scuzy 1
So how long would i have to wait until i can breed her again? Her vulva is quite swollen but i think it would get bigger. Quote Link to post

She will give him the run around if she isnt quite ready , maybe a few more days i left mine in season 4-5 days before taking her back to the hob.. she's now had a lovely bunch of 10 kits 40 days later. All ten are feeding very well and looking great. Quote Link to post

Hey Scuzy..I aint looking for another debate on the matter..but dont you think she may need checking out by a vet before breeding again mate..after all she has just had a litter which all died..she may have been lacking in something then which caused the kits to die..and if she was..that situation will only have worsened... all the best Quote Link to post
sue 1
i would put her to a vasectomised and then breed later with her ,she has gone through a lot carrying and giving birth to the kits she deserves a rest Quote Link to post

sue 1
she may or may not come back into season ,are you keeping any of the kits if you are they might come into season especially if we have a warm autumn you would be better getting a hob snipped than keep taking your jill for the jab as with all hormone injections they wont do her any good in the long run Quote Link to post

Well if the kits are removed to soon from her she will come back into season & it all depends if its early in the year or if its a late litter, from experience i found jills who had litters in late july early august tended not to come back into season once the kits had been weaned & moved on, but with the early litters they tended to come back into season Quote Link to post
