dawnraider 2 Posted May 10, 2008 Author Report Share Posted May 10, 2008 i would say its best to have the one dog and get it working before you get another lurcher x. because with two dogs it is a lot harder and they play up. been workin dogs for 20 yrs or so with my old man so i think i will be ok,just never had a collie grey and wanted to know what they was like Quote Link to post

Eggy 0 Posted June 23, 2008 Report Share Posted June 23, 2008 I've got a 1st Greyxcollie (3 1/2 now)...Brilliant catch dog, massive prey drive, very obedient, but can be very very sensitive and require a LOT of work (training) to keep 'em happy. I'd strongly advise you to not to get 2 pups at the same time of this breed 1 at a time is more than enough Cheers Eggy Quote Link to post

whin 463 Posted June 24, 2008 Report Share Posted June 24, 2008 got some good collie crosses mines are line bred from some greta dogs which keep producing the same type had dogs with collie in them for 25 years and the line i keep for 18 yrs very good allround dogs yet to see dogs who are as spunky for collie type had pics in earth dog running dog of m chapmans bob my luke d slieghts katie used to go to hunting trails they exeled at it but would still kill a fox or roe no prob i put a greyhound to mines and they still bred typey but faster just line bred her to simliar type fox roe harerabbit killer thats the stamp of good collie types but getting fewr now cheers Quote Link to post
