I've yet to find one that has and I've tested plenty, through work. I've found cockroaches inside the housing, I've seen mice sat on top of them and I've seen rats gnawing on the corners of them. If you find one that fulfils what it promises let me know because you'll make me a fortune. I reckon your best bet is setting traps. Repellents don't work. Poisons will work but you risk the ferrets eating the dead carcasses should one of your targets keel over. As your ferrets are much smaller than dogs, and far more likely to eat dead mice/rats, the risk of secondary poisoning is much higher. Set traps and check them daily, keep any loose feed, sealed up in plastic tubs. Clean up spills as soon as they occur, with both feed and liquids. Also check your shed for any obvious signs of rodent entry. Rats are much easier to keep out than mice but if your shed is like a sieve then you might as well lay a buffet on for them. Also I wouldn't feed dead rodents to the ferrets as you don't know whether any of your neighbours are using poisons, either themselves or with a contractor/local authority. An ounce of prevention is worth a ton of cure.
