katecampbell01 0 Posted May 5, 2008 Report Share Posted May 5, 2008 I tend to get my terriers yearly boosters, but wouldn't force it upon it on anyone to do so. I think its personal preferance, i know some who never worm or treat fleas but there dogs seem fine, i think it depends on where you work them and how many other dogs they are likely to see, i tend to work in some fu**ing manky places that are crawling with disease and my dogs see loads of other dogs, it's just when i was younger i knew a guy who lost a cracking terrier to parvo and have seen a few pups lost to it, so it kind of scared me a bit, so i guess i just do it to put my mind at ease, as i said personal preference, but i wouldn't turn down work if my dogs jabs were a due.... kirstysdad 827 Posted May 6, 2008 Report Share Posted May 6, 2008 have kept working dogs for 35 years now and i always jab my puppysnever give them a booster as i beleive their immune system should be up to scratch bythe time they are a year old have never had a problem [touch wood] and i work my dogs in some dirty ugly places most people would not try Quote Link to post
