andy s410c 59
Had some fine weather up here today so got meself up to the farm.I shimmed the scope last night with beer can shims put 4 of them in,got to my zero range & got the scope bang on for 30yds...at last.I placed meself in the hay barn which give perfect cover & range onto the old hay rolls. Laid down on a bale for 1hr managed only 1 but a nice headshot with re-zeroed scope. I then moved across to the farmyard managed to bag a half grown,i then moved round to the back of the quarry & took up position in a old stone cottage managed to bag 1 from here. Ended the day with 3 & a lot more confidence with the scope, thanks for the advice lads on the scope shimming Edited May 5, 2008 by andy s410c Quote Link to post
Little Butch 16
1) Theres no shot rabbit pictures ? 2) Why should you have to put a title saying 'warning shot rabbit photos' this is a hunting forum right? I just dont get it. Butch Quote Link to post

countrycommando89 7
Nice area and good shooting there. Whats shimming the scope meen? when your sight wont line up with your shot even when you have the limiters turned as far as they will go. shimming is placing something underneath the scope to lift it up at the back so it will line up. i think correct me if im wrong Quote Link to post
