cúagusgiorraí 57
I know there are feral pigs in Australia and the U.S, but is there any in the UK and Ireland and mainland Europe. With the increase in Wild Boar in the UK, I would think there would be a few feral pigs as well. Has anyone here hunted them, or seen them? Also would they be fit for human consumption. I have heard they can carry some diseases, like leptosporosis. Also here is a link to a good website on global invasive species. Pigs are ranked as one of the top 100 worst invasive species. http://www.issg.org/database/welcome/

The lads were checking her out before that. No one would go near her after that. A real turnoff. Edited May 5, 2008 by cúagusgiorraà

cúagusgiorraí 57
plenty of ferral pigs in the brokenhurst and beulieu area of the New Forest. Thanks. I dont know the area. Just a few questions. What sort of forest is it? Would they survive in pine plantations, or does it have to be mixed woodland? Are they very tame, or reclusive? Do they venture far from cover onto pastures?

FJager 0
Yes mate, pigs do real well in pine plantations and they will travel distances to root up fresh pasture during the night. Sh#t fish, throw the dogs on that fecker.
