BEST WEEK...TUE NIGHT 10 RABBITS,1 FOX,// FRI NIGHT.... 4 FOXS, SUN MORN BOLTED 3 FOX/CAUGHT 1 HARE/ LURCHERS ALL CAUGHT AND DUG ANOTHER TWO THAT WEEK WE ACCOUNTED FOR 10 RABBITS/10 FOXS/1 HARE MY TWO LURCHERS AND MY MATES ONE.....BUT ALL IN ALL EVERYTIME I CAN GET OUT IS AGOOD NIGHT/DAY

just a thought, and im probably leaving myself open to a lot crap answers, truthally, whats your the best nights lamping you,ve ever had?. with my old bitch i had my best night down in dorset , she was five at the time , i took thirty five rabbits, conditions were perfect and there was plenty about ,ive not found a spot like it since, i still get good nights,but not like this.

Best night ? 2 with 3 dogs.What a night! fair enough they did have myxie and there was rabbit fencing round the field ,but the three dogs ran well.!

Yes both had myxie but the dogs ran well never had as good a night again.

fair play lads, some good replies, i only lamp nowadays for meself, but i do try and beat me personal best, years ago we had some real lamping men, serious lampers, like mr trevis, bless him , mr ince, i leanrt from these old boys, never lamped with them because of me dogs colour, they worked by day, and hunted by night for real dogmen, not men with dogs, end of subject,

best time i ever had was in day light 2 dogs an hour and a half of what was supposed to be a walk through a field and 23 rabbits mostly queenies to.

best night lamping i had was with a whippet/greyhound... 1 hare, 2 foxes and after a cup of tea under my favourite tree i set off to another area and lifted about 8 rabbits... although none of them were retrieved...

 

 

 

worst nights lampin... i walked about 6 miles, saw f**k all and fell into a stream only to get soaked up to the waiste and whatever way i fell i broke the connect goin to the battery pack and had to walk home cold, wet and feckin about in the pitch black lol... i wont forget that one in a while

best night we had: 4 hares with 2 dogs and 4 rabbits with 1 of those dogs, 2 of the hares on 1 field, and 3 of the 4 rabbits also on the same field (not the same one as the hares)

best night watching me jack russel catch a rabbit like a lurcher she was rabbit was up and down the field in the lamp with the jack russel not far behind rabbit kept bouncing off the fence he couldnt get through then he started to tire and on his last run up the field the terriers sheer determination caught it and all she could do was just about hold it and give it a shake there was no way she could keep up with the speed but she had it on endurance only 11 months old she was what a terrier

[best rabbits was 31 in one night just me and the collie greyhound,its carrying the things that was the killer as it was feilds out on a fell.Nothing wrong with asking what peoples best nights have been but remember you can only get big bags if the game is there in the first place.Had a 28 rabbit 12 hare one night with (2 dogs ran single) brother and mates dogs not mine.The hares were before ban.
