just a thought, and im probably leaving myself open to a lot crap answers, truthally, whats your the best nights lamping you,ve ever had?. with my old bitch i had my best night down in dorset , she was five at the time , i took thirty five rabbits, conditions were perfect and there was plenty about ,ive not found a spot like it since, i still get good nights,but not like this.

I know [bANNED TEXT] u mean just been watching the site to see [bANNED TEXT] people r like :clapper: couple sound like they hate to be wrong about something they no little about. back to your question had 24 by herefordshire(leominster)with my old dog he was a collie/grey/stag hewas about 4 at the time

Best I ever had was I think 11. But as the man say, its not the amonut that counts, it's the buzz of the lamp hitting the rabbits eyey, or the course, thats what counts to me. :thumbs::thumbs:

 

 

Spot on :victory: , mine was 1 hare, 8 rabbits, 2 foxes. It was with my old bitza bitch she was

25ins 55lb, ive had more rabbits in a night , but the above i think was a better bag. :victory:

plus when you have to carry the feckers on your own, i know its not alot, but its enough for me.

dont get me wrong, its not about numbers, i agree it is about your dog and how it performs for you, im not a competative dogman, i was remanising about me bitcth whos now twelve, and i wanted to share my thoughts, i enjoy genuine dog men , and when you read some of the :censored::censored: on here i just makes me want to say are they dogmen or just men with dogs, :no: thanks for sensible replys.

Best night ? 2 with 3 dogs.What a night! fair enough they did have myxie and there was rabbit fencing round the field ,but the three dogs ran well.!

had twelve hares in a nite , had five roe in a nite , and 48 rabbs with two dogs ,all was before the ban etc had several fives on roe with two tor of dartmor crosses and an old line bred collie cross was driving mostly massive stubble feilds etc the rabbit nite was two feilds the dogs were feched could have took a hundred that night but well we had to get home and it was early season so dogs were not [bANNED TEXT] fit , all in all could do the same again but you need the buyers and its illegal nowadays

my best is 70 rabbits and 1 hare, with 2 dogs, best with 1 dog is 45 . had loads of 30's over the years, and loads of 50-60 with 2 dogs.

 

best deer is 5 fallow , 4 does 1 hat rack

Best fox night, 9 with two dogs.

 

Best rabbit night/nights, 30 each night on successive nights over the same ground, one dog, same dog both nights, (had bigger hauls on single nights out but those two were....a bit good!

 

Best night, 2 foxes, 2 hares, five bunnies, one dog.
