Countrykid 1
I see them quite abit too.once my brother shot a pigeon and it flew off then died, when we found it a BOP had had it Quote Link to post
Guest ferretlad
I only ever have seen a few Sparrow Hawks or the odd Kestrel in my area but its very rare to see any, unfortunately these bird's are not welcome here because of the vast amount of Racing Pigeon's kept in the area. Sad state of affair's for these beautiful bird's. Quote Link to post
jart 0
same here in the lakes.......................we always see the crows swooping at them when they get close to the roosts...........kestrels,sparrow hawks, perrigrines and of course the basenthwaite ospreys and the haweswater golden eagles..............................superb!!!!!!!!!!!! i know what you mean' it makes the sport so much nicer seeing the wildlife and the countryside i just love to go for a walk with my gun its not just about what i shoot or kill its just a great way to get away from it all and enjoy the peace and quite Quote Link to post
hughesey1552 0
i was out in some woods yesterday just mooching about. and for about half an hour i could hear a bird "screeching" is the best word to describe it as it was circling over the woods. Im guessing it was a BOP because i could see literally 10 squirells runnign through the trees like they were running for cover lol. Quote Link to post

targa 5
We have Goshawks on our city tower since a couple years. Nice to see them banging the flying rats out of the sky! I spend a lot of time on the market place on a terrace with a beer and my binnoculars this summer, watching them. Looking nature in the midlle of the city, with a beer Quote Link to post
BBB 7
they are peregrine falcon's, not goshawk's. Quote Link to post
