robsharpe 1 Posted May 4, 2008 Report Share Posted May 4, 2008 we 9 of us set off for the 2 hr trip to tweedale millenium trout fishery at 5 am to arrive for opening after a smooth drive there ,counting the cash machines on the way ( read speed cameras )) we arrived to a cool wind blowing down across the lake from the fells above , the two lakes were well stocked and attended as we arrived rods were bending all around fresh stockies most likely ,we tackled up and moved into were we could fit i hate been shoulder to shoulder well just when am fishing . we fished from the dam wall with the wind blowing into our faces hard casting but thats were the food will be blown onto so the fish will hunt there too the day passed with wind odd sunny speel but still cool we all had a ok day some caught a lot and some not as many top rod was 11 least was well not that many , my day was ok 7 fish kept for for 16lb biggest 5lb rainbow also had good blue with full tail heres a few pictures mainley of paul the lad i was fishing with cheers rob the view from the dam wall across to the edinburgh estuary i think lol enjoy !!
