Guest JohnGalway
So, how do you get rid of a wasps nest? The photo Rolfe put up is the first wasps nest I've seen would you believe. Mind you I don't go looking for the little b*****ds. We used to have lots of ivy on a wall and old shed at the back of the house. You couldn't open the windows in summer Quote Link to post
Neil Cooney. 1
Had a terrier disturb one 2 weeks before Christmas last year while checking an earth. They started to swarm but it was just a case of going across the field and calling the terrier after she'd checked the empty earth. Was wondering whats the best solution if the nest is in a shed/attic etc ? I always wondered in what way does the wasp fit into the eco-system/food chain? Quote Link to post
Rolfe 2
Wasp nests are easily treated with a 1% bendiocarb powder injected into the nest via a pressure duster and a lance. On an average year i will treat upwards of 350 nests in various locations, from holes in the ground, hanging in shrubs or holes in walls etc..........the majority though will be in roof spaces .
