Mossdog 27 Posted May 3, 2008 Report Share Posted May 3, 2008 Hello, I'm new... I'm just happy when outside and seeing dogs work. I love training dogs and finding out about different dogs and types of dog work. I'm not fussy - I'll watch a pack of hounds - or coursing (once upon a time) - or gundogs - or sheepdogs..........anything where I can enjoy watching dogs be dogs. What really gets to me is how many dogs are bred with no real thought behind it and how many gullible people will buy a particular breed or cross of strain because 'fat bloke in the pub' said they were great - and then 'get rid' of it (what a lovely expression) when it doesn't live up to their expectations - when really they haven't got the commitment or ability to make a good job of it and it becomes another unwanted dog on the scrap heap...and if it's not put down it might become a suburban pet and wear a bandana and do heelwork to music I hope I can learn on here from people who are enthusiastic about what they do.
