fishfish 17 Posted May 2, 2008 Report Share Posted May 2, 2008 ive been working on a nice hunter knife for my mate 'mayfly'.its a hunter in 440 stainless steel,the handle is montanna ivory with red liners and a brass lanyard tube,ive still got a lot of shaping and polishing to do , and when thats done i will be scrimshawing a picture of a mayfly on the ivory handle. jobs done! ive finished the knife, polished and scrimshawed with the mayfly pic! i was quite nervouse about the scrimshaw but ime chuffed with the way its come out! now i have the sheath to make this evening,i love sheath making,quite theraputic!
